1. Aerospace Petrochemical Rotating Disc Valve Maintenance
In some polycrystalline silicon project of Sichuan, the routine maintenance was made for the 600Lb DN100 rotating disc valve that has been running for two years. The main problem is inner leakage, but valve body and valve trim are in perfect condition. The maintenance covers cleaning of valve cavity and valve trim, regrinding of valve seat and valve disc, changinge of non-metal sealing elements such as packing and gasket. After assembly and bulge test, the valve runs well, with performance the same as a new one.

2. Imported rotating disc valve maintenance
In some polycrystalline silicon project of Jiangsu Province, the imported rotating disc valve has the problem of jamming and inner leakage after running for less than one year. Now, we are entrusted to examine and maintain it. In our plant, when the cylinder is aerated and acts, the valve has obviously jamming and creeping. By filling air to check the valve cavity, the valve seat leaks seriously with ,numerous air bubbles. After detaching the valve, we find that the preloaded spring is broken, and sealing face is severely worn out. Besides,, there are more stuff accumulated in the valve cavity, at the same timend the shaft and the bearing are locked. The maintenance program includes changinge the valve disc, disc spring and other trim, hardening treatment for shaft, bearing and valve seat, and replacement of nonmetal sealing elements like packing and gasket. The valve got tight seal and smooth operation before dispatch, operating smoothly, and has been running for more than three years since then.

Both MTG and MTO are fixed bed technologies, and the reaction system and regeneration system are executed in a cyclic manner. The reaction and regeneration reaction temperatures are above 500 ℃, and the reaction system medium is hydrocarbons, while the regeneration system medium is high-temperature air.
